Rare Collector's Opportunity: FED Zarya (ФЭД Заря) 35mm rangefinder-less viewfinder camera in exceptional, near mint aesthetic and mechanical condition, complete with its original, highly sought-after matching factory-embossed leather case and lens cap.

Overview & Rarity:
Produced by the FED factory in Kharkov between 1959 and 1961, the "Zarya" is one of the most intriguing and rare variants of the renowned FED-2 platform. Designed without the complex built-in rangefinder mechanism to provide a more accessible, simplified camera for photography clubs and technical applications, it was made in significantly smaller production numbers than standard FED-2 models. Collectors prize the clean, uncluttered top-plate engraving and its distinct vintage aesthetic.

Condition Report:
- Body & Cosmetics: The camera is in beautiful Near Mint collector’s condition (Grade A). The satin chrome finish is crisp and clean, with virtually no handling wear. The black vulcanite body covering is completely intact, supple, and crack-free. Clean bottom plate and base.
- Optics: Comes fitted with the renowned Industar-26M 50mm f/2.8 lens featuring the rare red "П" (coated) mark. Glass is clear and bright; free of fungus, haze, or scratches. Aperture diaphragm blades are clean, free of oil, and click smoothly through all stops. Focusing ring turns evenly.
- Mechanics: Shutter curtains are supple, perfectly light-tight, and in excellent order. The focal-plane shutter cocks properly and fires across all speeds (B, 1/30s to 1/500s). Frame counter and advance knob operate smoothly.
- Viewfinder: Clean and transparent viewing window.

Included Accessories:
- Highly rare original dark brown leather case with the authentic cursive "Заря" embossed script on the front snout and intact original carrying strap. (Most Zaryas on the market are found with common FED-2 cases—this set retains its true factory original case!).
- Original vintage metal front lens cap.
