This professional-grade Shakuhachi mimics the organic aesthetic of traditional natural bamboo joints but is meticulously carved from high-quality musical-grade tonewood, offering exceptional structural stability against climate changes while retaining a rich, resonant tone:
- Stunning Wood Grain: Display a incredibly glossy, vibrant natural wood grain profile with a subtle tiger-stripe or curly maple-like figuring that catches the light beautifully.
- Scalloped Bell Shape: The bottom end (菅尻 / Bell) features a beautifully contoured, multi-layered carved ring silhouette that mirrors the rustic elegance of ancient bamboo root bases.
- 2-Piece Jointed Construction: Designed as a classic Nakatsugi (中継ぎ) two-piece take-apart flute equipped with a secure connection joint for easy maintenance, fine-tuning, and safe transportation.
- Exquisite Finish: The interior bore is lined with a stunning, vibrant protective red-lacquered (Urushi-style) finish that optimizes airflow and acoustic projection. The blowing mouthpiece (Utaguchi) is masterfully inlaid with a traditional dark crescent shape for precise wind control.
