Casio - Oceanus "Yacht Timer" - Senza prezzo di riserva - AW-513 “Rare” - Uomo - 1990

• Period: Early 1990s (approximately 1992–1995). • The Birth of the Oceanus Series: Casio first introduced its "Oceanus" line—now a high-end series consisting entirely of luxury, titanium, solar-powered timepieces—in the early 1990s through these types of analog-digital nautical and sports-oriented models. Consequently, this watch stands as one of the first-generation, ancestral models of the series. Yacht Timer: The blue and red graphical bars located at the top of the watch are designed for the countdown phase of yacht or sailing races. During a 5- or 10-minute countdown—initiated via the digital display—they allow the athlete to quickly and visually track how much time remains until the start of the race. Case Structure: The protrusion on the left side gives it an iconic, muscular design, inspired by the "Alti-Depth Meter" (altimeter/depth gauge) cases that Casio produced during that era. Place of Manufacture: Produced directly in Japan; this is indicated on the case back, along with a reference to stainless steel. This vintage "Ana-Digi" timepiece—featuring both an analog and a digital display—is a highly sought-after retro model among Casio and JDM (Japanese Domestic Market) collectors. It is quite rare on today’s market, prized especially for its unique color palette (yellow hands, blue dial, and red/blue bars) as well as its unconventional case geometry. In the image, the watch is paired with a navy blue NATO strap instead of its original steel bracelet.
