The B-set was designed in 1997 by Hella Jongerius. By baking the clay at too high a temperature, each element slightly deforms. The imperfect dinnerware is one of the first designs in which individuality is created within serial production, an important theme in the work of Jongerius. The inside of the cups have a stamp containing the clay number (405W), the glaze number (451) and Hella Jongerius's initials (HJ). The B-Set has become an icon in Dutch designer history and included in a large number of international museums. This lot contains the 4 beakers large and comes in original packaging.
