Offered for sale is a lot of two older bottles of G.H. Mumm & Co. Cordon Rouge Brut Champagne, Reims, France.

Both bottles feature the famous red “Cordon Rouge” sash, one of the most recognizable historic labels of the G.H. Mumm Champagne House.

The bottles appear to be from an older production period and retain their original labels, foil/capsule and closures. One bottle also bears the historic “Purveyors of Champagne by Appointment to H.M. Queen Elizabeth II” emblem on the front.

The lot is accompanied by an original G.H. Mumm Cordon Rouge presentation case/tube, visible in the photographs.

The bottles show signs of age and storage, including wear, staining and deterioration to the labels and foil, as can be clearly seen in the photographs. These characteristics are consistent with their age and add to their appeal as collectible vintage Champagne bottles.
