This is an antique religious statue of a saint or spiritual figure, possibly of the Catholic saint Saint John Nepomucenus. The statue is made of wood and has traces of polychromy (painting) dating late 18 begin 19 ct.
Features:
The figure wears a long priestly robe, probably an alb and a cloak.
A cross hangs around the neck, indicating a Christian or Catholic context.
The headdress and facial expression suggest a spiritual or sacred portrayal.
The paint is worn in some places, indicating age and possibly Baroque or Rococo influences.
Traces of wear and missing finger right hand.
