This pretty Bohemian pyrope garnets necklace dates from the 1930s to 1940s. In gilt over sterling, there are five open-work drop settings at the front that are prong- and bezel-set with sparkling, deep red garnets and a chain on each side. The teardrops each contain a bezel-set garnet. The center teardrop is larger - it is 2 cm tall and 1 cm width the teardrops on each side are slightly smaller - ca 1,7 cm tall and 0,8 cm width, although those are the same size. The stones are all native, it shines beatifull and all are in their places. This is an estate piece in excellent condition.
