Ardbeg Still Young is the second release in the series of bottles distilled in 1998, following the distillery takeover by Glenmorangie. This ‘Still Young’ Ardbeg 1998 was the distillery’s 2nd release of the whisky that would later become their 10-year-old Renaissance expression. It was bottled and released at cask strength in 2006. The nose combines notes of smoke, caramel, sea salt, citrus fruit and dark peat. The palate is rather sweet, with plenty of vanilla, balanced by some peat and pepper. Ardbeg Still Young Islay single malt Scotch whisky. Limited edition 2006 bottling; the second of the 'Young Ardbeg Series' (Very Young, Still Young, Almost There, Renaissance) leading to the all new ten year old in 2008. Bottle, labels and box are in good condition, excellent fill-level. Bottle has always been stored upright and inside box.
