Ser Lapo Riserva is produced at the Castello Fonterutoli estate, owned by the Mazzei family, located in the heart of the splendid Chianti Classico region. It is produced primarily from Sangiovese and Merlot grapes, harvested manually in the second half of September. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 26-28°C for 15-18 days. The wine then ages for 12 months in small French oak barrels before being bottled. It has a ruby red color. The nose opens with fresh aromas reminiscent of berries. On the palate, it is pleasantly structured and intense. Perfect with pasta with game sauce and stews, this red wine is ideal with grilled red meat and medium-aged cheeses.
