This beautiful solid oak church bench originates from the Gasthuiskerk in Hattem (the Netherlands), a church built in 1899 and still in use today by the Dutch Reformed community. It is believed to be the only remaining two-seater pew from the church’s original interior. Crafted in the Arts & Crafts style, the bench features simple yet elegant lines, a solid construction, and two folding seats with perforated star/sun motifs. The warm patina of the oak adds to its charm and historical character. Condition: Good original condition with light signs of age and use. The bench is sturdy and functional, not restored or refinished, with a beautiful natural patina. Provenance: Gasthuiskerk, Achterstraat, Hattem (Netherlands, built 1899).
