Introduced around 1979, it features Akai’s “GX” glass-coated head technology (for durability and reduced wear), Dolby B noise reduction, and support for multiple tape types (normal, chrome, and metal) To deliver this product properly, it is carefully packed in very strong boxes, thereby wrapped in bubble wrap with lots of padding.
