The watch was acquired in the USA, where it was originally made back in the 40s and 50s. Overall, in great condition, as can be seen in the pictures. Movement serviced by a professional watchmaker in October 2025, keeping good time. Case: Original 14k gold-filled case in unpolished condition. Glass: Original crystal in very good condition for the age. Dial: Original bright gold dial with “Hamilton” signature in excellent condition for the age. Not repainted! Original gold-plated hands. Movement: In-house movement from Hamilton, reference 982. Manual winding, 19 Jewels movement with manufacturer inscriptions. The production of this movement was launched in 1935 in the USA. Case Size: 37mm (lug to lug) x 21,5mm (without crown) Strap: With the original Spandex strap from Speidel, 16mm, sold at that period with these watches. Small scratches and signs of use and age can be seen on the case and glass.
