Aldus’ anchor on title page and on last leaf. Later dark green calf, gilt frame and small gilt central ornament on both covers, gilt spine, brown morocco title-piece on spine. First three leaves skilfully restored, otherwise a good copy Nice collection of Pontano’s works, all dedicated to astronomy and astrology, published by Paolus Manutius; a first collection was published in 1505, two years after the author’s death, by Aldus. The present edition includes: Urania sive de Stellis; Meteororum; De hortis Hesperidum; Lepidina, sive pasorale pompae septe. Item Melifeus, Maeon, Acon. Hendecasyllaborum; Tumilorum; Neniae; Epigrammata.
