This is a very rare fossil of the Bison, about 44 cm in length, with fairly complete black teeth. The bone texture and teeth of this fossil are well preserved.
Bison priscus were over 2 meters tall, similar to modern American bison. Their horns were about 1 meter apart, and the horns themselves were about half a meter long. They weighed up to 900 kilograms (2,000 pounds).
The creature, now extinct, sometimes appears in cave paintings.
