This unique kilim has characteristic colors & design combination.
It was made in 70s-80s by nomad people in Usak village. Weaving rugs is a tradition in Turkey and every village & tribe has different design and weaving tradition.
Material: Wool and goat hair, mother nature’s bounty such as leaves, roots, barks, berries, nuts, funghis and lichens are all good sources of natural dyes
Condition: *It has a good condition for its age. There may be deformations in some parts of the carpet which makes carpet more valuable.
As seen in the photos, there is a slight unraveling on the edge. This does not affect the rug’s overall durability or usability and is part of its unique character.
Dimensions: 155 cm X 280 cm
