Description:

Elegant and massive antique pedestal desk made in Central Europe around 1900–1920.
The desk is crafted entirely from solid oak, stained in a deep dark-brown tone (ebonised oak effect), with richly profiled panels and original carved wooden handles.

The piece features the classic two-pedestal construction with 8 side drawers and 1 central drawer.
All drawers are made of solid wood with early machine-cut dovetail joints, characteristic for high-quality furniture manufacturing of the early 20th century.
The desk is very stable, heavy, and functional — a beautiful example of traditional woodworking.

The back is also decorated with framed panels, allowing the desk to be placed freely in the room.
The central drawer preserves its original lock housing (key not present).
The finish shows beautiful natural patina.

This is an authentic, unaltered example of a European office desk from the early 20th century, ideal for interiors, collectors, or restoration enthusiasts.
