I think the frame of this original badge has clearly been affected by salt.
During the restoration of the car, the original badge was replaced with a non-original one. I could purchase this original badge.
Polishing it would improve its appearance. I didn't it as I wanted to keep it 100% original.
However, the enamel is still in wonderful condition and is very good.

I don’t understand why polishing and chromium plating weren’t part of an authentic restoration.
After I sold my Fiat Dino 2400 Coupé, it was restored in Italy to the specifications (read wishes) of the future French owner. The car lost a lot of its original features, f.e. the seats. I don't understand that either. But everyone should do what they want.

Dimensions: 690 x 340 mm.
The badge weighs 50 g and was manufactured by O.M.E.A Milano, the official supplier of emblems and pins.
