What really stands out is the Spectro-Peak Indicator, which visualizes the recording or playback levels across five distinct frequency bands (around 100 Hz to 10 kHz). This lets users monitor and optimize levels to avoid distortion and maximize clarity. Combined with solid VU meters, the KD-85 offers both functional precision and a visually engaging retro aesthetic.
