Pablo Picasso - Original Vintage Max Jacob et Picasso Poster, Musée Picasso - Jaren 1990

This poster was created for the exhibition “Max Jacob et Picasso” at the Musée Picasso – Hôtel Salé in Paris, held from 30 November 1994 to 6 February 1995.

The exhibition explored the relationship between Pablo Picasso and the poet/artist Max Jacob, one of Picasso’s closest early companions in Paris. Their artistic exchange, friendship, and shared creative evolution were highlighted through paintings, drawings, letters and archival material.

The image on the poster is a portrait of Max Jacob painted by Pablo Picasso, dating from Picasso’s early expressionist / proto-Cubist period (around 1909–1914).
