2006 Lagavulin Distillers Edition, aged in ex-Pedro Ximenez sherry casks until bottling in 2021. Aromas of intense peat, sweet vanilla, roasted malt and smoky ash fill the nose, complemented by notes of sea salt, coffee, vanilla, strong peat smoke and notes green apple and lemon throughout the palate. I am sending this lot from the Greek Isles where shipping is more expensive compared to the mainland, so my shipping costs are slightly higher.
