The final bottling in the Anniversary Trilogy, the Future Ediiton represents Billy Walker's future endeavours. Made with Speyside peat from St Fergus, the young and feisty spirit was aged in a medley of former bourbon and rye barrels, as well as a quantity of virgin oak casks. The outcome is a punchy single malt abundant in smoked almonds, cinnamon sticks and dark chocolate, with puffs of earthy peat smoke. Nose: Bursting with toasted honeycomb, dried fruits and hazelnut, with hints of smouldering oak, dark chocolate and warm cinnamon apples. Palate: Lashings of cinnamon stewed pears, toasted almonds, heather honey and pipe tobacco, followed by smoked barley, vanilla toffee and orchard fruits.
