A rare Jack Daniels 125th Anniversary decanter, which was produced in 1990 to celebrate the 125th Anniversary of the establishment of the Jack Daniel Distillery. Before the Civil War, distilleries were not required to register with the federal government. But in 1866, Congress passed legislation that required registration. Mr. Jack, being the forward-thinking man he was, made sure he was first in line, and that’s why the Jack Daniel Distillery is still listed in the federal record books as “Distillery No. 1.” This 1L decanter, released in 1990, celebrates the 125th Anniversary of “America’s Oldest Registered Distillery” and pays tribute to its founder.
