Craftsmanship and Materials Constructed with a beautifully flamed two-piece maple back, tight-grained spruce top, and a deep amber-brown oil varnish with rich patination, the instrument exhibits both historic charm and technical finesse. The scroll and edgework reveal the hand of an experienced luthier working in the spirit of the Italian masters. 4.
