The contrast of their Citroën DS 19, streamlined and mechanically advanced, with the luscious and picturesque landscape links - thanks to the observing eye - both the urban and the countryside in the most sensitive manner. The book was conceived as "A Sensibility Primer." In this diary - a passenger's eye on english roads in the 1970's - a sensibility to car movement has its beginnings.
