Vintage 1966 Gentleman's Rolex Datejust with its original Jubilee Bracelet This watch is powered by a calibre 1570 automatic Rolex movement which is in working order although due to age not recommended for use in water. The watch has a phenomenal sunburst dial with the silver indexes & hands. It’s a gorgeous aged colour there is a slight mark between 11 & 12. There’s the slightest spec on the hands but nothing major whatsoever. The acrylic crystal is also nice & clean giving you a clear view of the dial, this example has the roulette date with black then red date numbers. The watch is housed in a nice stainless steel oyster case with an engine turned bezel. It looks superb and is in exceptional shape! There’s some minor light scratches but the watch is 60 years old! The watch has its original Rolex screwdown crown which works/winds absolutely fine with no issues. The date isn’t quickset which is correct for this model. The watchremainst on its original Rolex Jubilee bracelet dated 1969. It’s in excellent shape and has been well looked after. There’s some typical general wear with some minor light scratches & slight flex but this is to be expected on any pre owned vintage watch. Bracelet will fit up to a 7 1/2 inch wrist. This is an automatic watch meaning it runs off the movement of your wrist. It can also be manually wound as all automatic watch can be. The watch has a small power reserve however if left for a period of time it will have likely stopped. This watch comes in a genuine 1980's box as visible in photographs.
