Exceptional three-piece dessert set by Lutz & Weiss, Pforzheim, Germany. The handles feature fine wheat and flowing vine ornamentation, a hallmark Art Nouveau / Jugendstil design known as “Ähre” (“Wheat”). The surface is matte-finished with partly gilt highlights (vermeil). The knife blade is gilt; all handles are solid 900 silver. Preserved in its original silk-lined presentation case.
