Louis-Ernest Barrias (1841–1905) -- Nature Unveiling Herself Before Science, a magnificent statue made of solid patinated bronze. It was originally created in marble and exhibited at the Paris Salon in 1893, after which a patinated bronze version in bust style was made at the Susse Freres foundry in Paris. The statue is 48 cm high, with a base of 21.7 / 12.3 cm and weighs 15 kilograms.
