This attractive specimen features a naturally formed ruby (corundum) crystal displaying an intense pinkish-red to purplish-red color, beautifully perched on a contrasting white marble matrix. The ruby shows a stout prismatic habit with natural surface textures and good color concentration, typical of ruby crystals from metamorphic environments. The white marble matrix is composed mainly of calcite and provides a clean, bright background that strongly enhances the ruby’s color.
