For sale rare vacumatic ballpoint pen with 14k gold nib. Although not as famous as Aurora and Omas, Ancora is one of the most important brands in the history of Italian pens. Although the brand did not create relevant technical inventions nor did it stand out for its originality and design innovation, often producing models clearly inspired by those of the most famous brands, the pens produced by Ancora were excellent and remarkable for the quality of their celluloid, proposed in beautiful and original colors. The company was among the most relevant Italian brands until the 1950s, but, like all other pen manufacturers, it went through the crisis caused by the advent of the ballpoint pen, which caused its gradual decline until its definitive closure in 1975. As happened with other historical companies, the Ancora brand was reused since 1988 for the production of modern pens
