Shipped via UPS About the estate Château Lascombes owes its name to its first owner, the Chevalier Antoine de Lascombes (born in 1625). The Lascombes vineyard, one of the largest estates in the Médoc, is divided into some forty parcels spread throughout the appellation. Its soil is composed of fine, deep gravel. Highly regarded in the Anglo-Saxon market, Château Lascombes wines are particularly present in the American market (40% of sales), where they serve as ambassadors of French wines. About the wine The wines are concentrated, with great charm and roundness. Owned by the investment fund Colony Capital since 2001, the estate was sold to the health professionals' mutual insurance company MACSF in 2011.
