Item Description: This is a contemporary Japanese glass wall vase titled “Glass Décor Kakehanaire” (グラスデコール 掛花生), created by the renowned glass artist Naoto Yokoyama (横山尚人). The piece features a unique oval-shaped cylindrical body made of frosted green glass with colorful speckled patterns and vivid yellow side handles. The vibrant colors appear suspended within the glass, giving the work a dreamy and fantastical feel. A small metal hook is embedded in the back for hanging, making it suitable for wall display. The surface is signed “Naoto” near the bottom, and it comes housed in its original signed wooden tomobako (storage box). This piece is a prime example of Yokoyama’s original concept of “Glass Décor,” which blends function with rich decorative artistry.
