A Chinese famille verte porcelain 'Figural' big plate (platter / charger). China, mid 19th century, Qing dynasty, most probably Xianfeng (1850-1861, 咸豐) period. Finely painted in vivid enamels with a terrace scene depicting Mandarins and their attendants standing around the table, followed by four cartouches with flowers and scrolls in strong brown reserved on two bands: one of swastikas, next - blue and yellow key-fret pattern on brown ground. Exterior not decorated. Daylight pictures included. Dimensions: diameter - 25,4 cm; height - 3,7 cm. Weight - 760 g. Provenance: private collection, Germany. Conditions report: good condition with restored place on the edge and short (2,3 cm) hairline from the edge. Use-related wear to enamels, to include some scratches. Minor firing faults.
