Fotografia militar - Coleção Arquivística de Fotos Militares com Negativos Analógicos Originais – Flotilha do Danúbio na

Offered for auction is a rare archival collection consisting of three original military photo index sheets, each accompanied by analog film negatives. These materials come from a European technical–military archive and document the Danube Flotilla during the First and Second World Wars. The negatives are genuine analog films produced in archival laboratories as professional duplicate negatives, not modern digital reproductions. Contents of the collection: Sheet M-625 Features the monitors Kerč (ex Basarabia), Izmaj (ex Sava) and Berdjansk (ex Ardeal), together with technical photographs and drawings of the Škoda 12 cm twin turret. Includes wartime river scenes, such as operations near Budapest in 1945. Sheet M-628 Includes a rare photograph of the Austro-Hungarian monitor Temes shelling Romanian positions in November 1916, the Romanian vessel Regele Carol I converted into an auxiliary cruiser, the Romanian monitor Mihail Kogălniceanu, and several Austro-Hungarian river monitors. This sheet is particularly valuable for researchers of WWI naval operations on the Danube. Sheet M-626 Contains a historical photograph of Field Marshal von Mackensen visiting the monitor Temes, an image of the Austro-Hungarian monitor Szamos, the Romanian river torpedo boat Căpitan Romano, a panoramic photograph showing the entire Austro-Hungarian Danube flotilla (Enns, Bosna, Szamos, Maros, Bodrog, Inn, Körös), and images of Romanian monitors from 1916. Technical notes and condition: – All sheets are original archival index cards from a military or naval institution. – Negatives are authentic analog films from approximately 1930–1960, with characteristic edge perforations and natural aging. – Each negative strip corresponds to the photographs mounted on the sheets. – Overall condition is very good for archival material of this age. Historical relevance: This collection is of high value to collectors of military photography, naval historians, museums and researchers focused on the Danube, Austro-Hungarian river forces, Romanian naval history and WWI operations in Eastern Europe. Provenance: Private European collection. No further documentation available. Shipping: Secure packaging and tracked international shipping.
