This unit has the serial number 137907, which places it in an early production period of the Canon F-1. Both the camera and the lens were professionally disassembled and serviced by a technician. Most classic cameras exported from Japan are not properly maintained. It is quite rare to find a camera that has been thoroughly serviced, including accurate shutter speed measurement. The following maintenance work has been carried out: Disassembly cleaning of the Focusing Screen and lens. Adjustment and calibration of the shutter speed. Many Canon F-1 bodies have an issue where the shutter curtains do not fully open at the 1/2000-second speed.
