This volume compiles the collages he created on his studio wall during the production of his masterpiece Broken Manuel. The following is from Soth's message in the appendix: "I have never considered myself a studio artist. It's been eight years since I rented my current studio, and I don't think I've ever done a serious shoot here. However, the studio held a crucial position during the creation of the ‘Broken Manuel’ series. I set up a room inside the studio called ‘The Cave,’ painted the walls gray, and pinned up photographs, notes, tickets, and other items, continuing the collage. This ‘Working Wall’ was, in a sense, the brain behind Broken Manuel."
