The Taishōgoto is classified as a zither, as sound is produced by plucked strings stretched over a flat wooden body, with keys used only to change pitch. This example has been tested and confirmed to produce sound, making it suitable for playing as well as collecting. The instrument itself is in relatively good condition, with no major scratches or damage visible. Some minor sticker residue may remain and can be cleaned easily. The original hard case is included and shows light signs of wear consistent with storage. This item has been stored at home and lightly cleaned.
