Very beautiful Loetz (Johann Loetz Witwe - Klostermühle, Bohemia) vase. Decor Creta Rusticana. Characteristic iridescent Jugendstil art glass surface sheen covering the exterior of the vase. Green glass, pre-blown in optic form with a knotty texture. Mould-blown and shaped, reduced and with iridescence. Splashed with green glazes and trailed with silver bands between layers. Good used condition overall, no chips, no hairlines, no nicks, no crackles, no restoration. Good, clean interior. The base rim is slightly worn as a result of being mounted in a metal mount (please see detailed pictures) that does not affect at all the overall aesthetics of the vase.
