Celta Bronze Amuleto, séc. II–I a.C. - 25 mm (Sem preço de reserva)

Rare Ancient Celtic bronze Artifact “Fire of Samhain” — Protective Ritual Amulet, 2nd–1st c. BC Shipping within the EU only. Material: bronze with beautiful ancient patina Size: 25 × 18 mm Condition: Excellent, wearable; shows noble traces of age and use Origin: Western / Central Europe Provenance: Acquired from an old private collection This is a rare and highly symbolic Celtic amulet, dated to the 2nd–1st century BC. Its unique three-part design carries deep spiritual and ritual meaning, associated with one of the most mystical celebrations in the Celtic world — Samhain, the sacred time of transition, the end of the year, and remembrance of ancestors. The upper section depicts a stylized ember from the sacred ritual fire. During Samhain, the Celts would light a fire on the highest hill, offering sacrifices in gratitude for the harvest. Embers from this fire were taken into homes as powerful protective talismans to guard the family through the dark winter nights. The central ring symbolizes eternity and the infinite cycle of life. In Celtic culture, the circle stood for both the natural rhythm of life–death–rebirth and for spiritual protection. The lower section is an abstract representation of the domestic hearth — the heart of family and warmth. It symbolizes the spiritual center of the home, where ancestral energy and the power of the land are united. The “Fire of Samhain” amulet is not just an ornament, but a sacred talisman — a promise of eternal protection for its wearer and their loved ones. Such pieces could have belonged to tribal spiritual leaders — druids, warriors, or keepers of ritual knowledge. Artifacts of this kind are extremely rare, especially in such well-preserved condition — and made of silver, even more so. It holds great historical and collectible value. A unique item for a serious collection of Celtic-era artifacts, historical reenactment, or as a powerful personal amulet.
