A pair of traditional cloth/felt hats from Peru and Bolivia, originating from the Quechua and Aymara peoples. The large flat hat has a diameter of 31 cm and is handmade with colorful details. The bowler hat, also 31 cm, is decorated with a ribbon headband and bears the words "Superior" and "super fino elegante" on the inside, along with a stamp of the possible maker. The bowler hat originates from the Aymara people of La Paz, Bolivia. There, they call it a bombin, a type of hat traditionally worn high on the head by cholitas. The flat hat is known as a montera among the Quechua. A unique set with cultural significance.
