Also printed on the obverse are: the coat of arms of Romania, the name of the central bank "BANCA NATIONALA A ROMANIEI" and the medallion with the BNR logo. The nominal value is inscribed four times, as follows: in the lower left horizontally, in figures, "100", in the central part, lower, horizontally, in two rows, in letters, "LEI UNA SUTA", in the lower right vertically, in letters "UNA SUTA LEI" and in the upper right vertically, in figures, "100". In the central part, upper left, there is the medallion with the overlapping element, representing a stylization of a skylight on the inner dome of the Romanian Athenaeum.
