The 2015 edition of Monkey 47's Distiller's Cut, is made using 47 botanicals, most of which are rarely seen in gins. The blend is aged for a year in earthenware containers and married with soft Black Forest water for an extra special sensory experience. This vintage release that's limited to 4000 bottles. Distillers Cut also incorporates one special ingredient into the mix for every vintage, with 2015 highlighting 'meum athamanticum', commonly known as Spignel - A highly aromatic perennial plant initially cultivated in Scotland. The Spignel seeds utilised for this release were sourced from the German Black forest, in the mountainous area around Wolfach, known as the "Moosenmättle".
