Rhythms of the Collective This canvas is a map of an internal journey, a visual frequency designed not just to be seen, but to be felt. Drawing inspiration from the fluid lines of Art Nouveau and the mind-expanding energy of the psychedelic era, I sought to bend reality, making the abstract figurative and the figurative abstract. The stark black and white forms vibrate against the deep blue background (in the original setting, which can be adapted if your background is different), a deliberate choice to challenge your perception and invite you into a space where the edges between figure and ground blur. I sculpted the light and shadow, allowing the sinuous lines to define a structure that seems to pulse with its own rhythm. The figures you see are not specific people, but a representation of inner wisdom and collective energy, calm observers in a world of swirling, organic forms. Every curve and pattern is an invitation to explore the disorienting, shifting impressions of form and space. It’s a piece that demands you stop, look closer, and allow your eye to wander through its intricate details.
