Seonjin-yo (青珍窯) - Liang Ming-huan (梁命煥) - Tigela de chá - Mishima (三島) - Grés

Description from the Seller Title: Masterpiece Mishima Celadon Chawan - Seonjin-yo by Liang Ming-huan (梁命煥) - With Original Signed Box In the searing embrace of the kiln, the celadon glaze transforms into a tranquil jade-like glass, eternally preserving the intricate "Mishima" patterns. The artist, Liang Ming-huan (梁命煥), is a revered master of Seonjin-yo, dedicated to reviving the noble soul and lost brilliance of Goryeo-era ceramics in the modern age. The surface pulsates with rhythm; meticulously stamped floral and geometric motifs—a technique dating back to the 15th century and cherished by legendary Japanese tea masters like Sen no Rikyu—are inlaid with white slip beneath a luminous, pale turquoise glaze. While the rim offers a silken, refined curve for the lips, the Kodai (foot) remains unglazed and resolute, exposing the raw, primordial strength of the earth. This profound interplay between sophisticated artistry and "Wabi-sabi" imperfection creates a dignity that commands the tea room. Artist Profile Liang Ming-huan (梁命煥) / Seonjin-yo (青珍窯) A preeminent figure in contemporary ceramic arts, Liang Ming-huan is celebrated for bridging the historical gap between ancient Goryeo techniques and modern aesthetic sensibilities. His works are highly coveted by collectors for their spiritual depth and technical perfection, representing a harmonious fusion of Korean craftsmanship and Japanese tea ceremony tradition. Condition & Specifications Condition: Immaculate. The piece has been preserved with the utmost care; no chips, cracks, or restorations are present. Texture: The delicate Kannyu (crazing) across the surface is a deliberate "breathing" of the clay, an intentional feature crafted by the artist to allow the bowl to age gracefully over years of use. Tomobako (Authenticity): Accompanied by the original paulownia wood box, bearing the artist’s hand-brushed calligraphy and vermilion seal. This ensures the work's provenance and status as a genuine masterpiece. Artist: Liang Ming-huan (梁命煥) Technique: Mishima-style Celadon (Inlayed Slip) Dimensions: [6.7] cm × [14] cm Net Weight: [259] g Gross Weight (with Box): [596]g Included: Original signed wooden box Shipping Information Carrier: Shipped via Japan Post EMS (Standard).
