Refugio I & II is part of SEDIMENTS series, Public Art Curator Stefania Dubla wrote:
¨Forms emerge from the silence of matter, becoming image only for an instant before settling again into the nebulous of primordial ground that generated them, in an oscillating movement that remains perpetually on the threshold between presence and loss. (...) Of everything that is taken from us — by life, by time, by memory, by the ornaments of the futile or the accidental — something ultimately remains that speaks more deeply of who we are.¨
BIO____
Guido Palmadessa (b. 1988) is a painter from Buenos Aires, Argentina, living and working in Berlin, Germany.
Formed at the National University of the Arts (U.N.A., Argentina) and shaped by the urban art movement, his work balances expressive gestural techniques with figurative construction.
