Christopher Corr (1955) - Rollerblades New York

Christopher Corr nasceu em Londres, em 1955, de pais irlandeses. Estudou Design Gráfico no Manchester Polytechnic e recebeu a Leverhulme Travelling Scholarship para os EUA em 1979. Voltou para concluir um mestrado no Royal College of Art, onde ganhou o RCA Drawing Prize. Ele já realizou mais de uma dúzia de exposições desde 1983, principalmente influenciadas por suas extensas viagens, no Curwen, Berkeley Square e Cadogan Galleries.

Seu trabalho foi premiado várias vezes, incluindo o Chelsea Arts Club Graphics Prize, a Lloyds Bank Printmaking scholarship, o D&AD Silver Award e o Association Of Illustrators Silver Award pelo seu trabalho no livro A Suitable Boy, de Vikram Seth.

Comission work includes: a millennium stamp for Royal Mail and paintings, posters and prints for Qantas, London Transport, National AIDS Trust, The Body Shop, Habitat and UNICEF.
