Laima Studio represents a Portuguese contemporary artist whose work explores abstraction through texture, layering and intuitive composition. Her practice focuses on translating natural environments into atmospheric, non-representational forms. Since beginning to establish herself as an artist in early 2025, her work has evolved through independent practice, with a strong emphasis on material exploration and the relationship between artwork and space.

Forest Lump is an original abstract painting inspired by the quiet structure and rhythm of forest landscapes. Through a balanced composition of vertical gestures and layered textures, the work evokes the presence of tree trunks, filtered light and the stillness of nature without direct representation.

The palette combines greys, soft blues, earthy browns and subtle accents of green and yellow, creating depth and a restrained luminosity. The surface reveals visible brushwork and material layering, enhancing the tactile quality and giving the piece a strong physical presence.
