Daisuke Yokota
RICHO ART GALLERY/2021/Japonês/180*255*3
Alluvion (Assinado)" is a collection of works by Daisuke Yokota, a leading contemporary Japanese photographer. Em the postwar 60s and 70s, Shomei Higashimatsu, Daido Moriyama, Takuma Nakahira, and others challenged conventional realism photography, creating and directing it in new ways, and bringing their ideas to fruition with their work in “Provoke,” Moriyama with “Farewell Photography,” and Nakahira with "For Words to Come. Although their styles differ somewhat, Daisuke Yokota continues to pursue his own originality and the possibilities of photography with the same new style and expression as they do. Through regular self-publishing, the “quantity” of his creations continues to increase while the “quality” of his work continues to rise, as it does every year. This book is a collection of Yokota's work from 2021 at the Ricoh Art Gallery in Ginza, Tokyo. It contains colorful and abstract illustrations created using “StareReap”, a printing technique developed by Ricoh over the years specifically for the creation of art works. Signed by the photographer.
