Multilayered, satin glass with finely worked overlay decoration of violets in delicate blue and green tones on a warmly nuanced background. The characteristic five-part flowers with delicate radiating lines are densely distributed over the vessel wall, forming a flat, harmoniously flowing decorative surface of high visual impact. With a sculpted, relief-like signature “Gallé”. A high-quality example of French Art Nouveau glass art, from the early estate production of the Gallé workshops in Nancy. Please see the photos.
