This work, Circle, Triangle, and Cross, is a lithograph created in 1980 by contemporary artist AY-O, known worldwide as the "Rainbow Artist." It is the 10th of a limited edition of 75. Simple, universal shapes—circles (círculos), triangles (triângulos), and crosses (X)—are superimposed on vivid rainbow-colored stripes, creating a work comprised of powerful lines and free rhythms.

◆Sobre Ay-O(靉嘔)◆

Nome real: Takao Iijima, nascido em 19 de maio de 1931, na prefeitura de Ibaraki.

Após formar-se no Departamento de Arte, Faculdade de Educação, Universidade de Educação de Tóquio (agora a Universidade de Tsukuba), juntou-se à Democratic Artists Association em 1953. Mudou-se para os Estados Unidos em 1958, onde convenceu e ingressou no movimento Fluxus.
