About the Artist: Karam Singh

Karam Singh - known for his deep, texturally rich canvases that explore themes of human emotion, isolation, and resilience against natural elements, captures both the external world and internal psychological landscapes. Working primarily out of India's capital, New Delhi his signature style blends deep palettes, sweeping palette-knife strokes, and intense lighting to capture figures and natural motifs suspended mid-motion.

Karam Singh has a mastery in fine works which he often combines with his semi-abstract style. His artistic accomplishments include some large commission works including International Airports, The Home Ministry Office of the Central government of India and the India Heritage Institue.

Singh’s complex handling of texture and anatomy is backed by rigorous academic training from India's premier arts institutions. His educational trajectory represents a conscious bridging of classical methodologies and cutting-edge experimentation. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts (BFA): Completed at the prestigious College of Art, New Delhi, where he mastered the foundational elements of figurative anatomy, composition, and printmaking and his Master of Fine Arts (MFA) earned from the Faculty of Fine Arts, MS University of Baroda.

Karam Singh's artistic philosophy centers on the democratization of art—bringing high-concept gallery pieces into sprawling public infrastructure to interact with everyday commuters.

The Jaipur International Airport Installation: His most renowned public commission is a massive, multi-paneled mural housed permanently at the Jaipur Airport Terminal.

National Capital Public Works: Beyond Jaipur, his larger-than-life canvases and installations are featured across prominent institutional lobbies in New Delhi, including corporate headquarters in Cyber City and government-backed cultural centers.
